Meet the Doctor

Dr. Sprieser received his B.S. degree from New York University in 1965 and his chiropractic degree from the Chiropractic Institute of New York in 1968.  He has been engaged in chiropractic practice in New Jersey since January 1969.

Dr. Sprieser has been a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, International College of Applied Nutrition, New York Academy of Sciences, American Association for the Advancement of Science, International College of Applied Kinesiology, and a staff Consultant to the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry Department of Prosthodontics M.P.D. clinic from 1978-1988 until the closing of the dental school. Dr. Sprieser was an associate professor at the Post-Graduate Division of the New York Chiropractic College 2001-2008.

In 1983 he received his certification as a Diplomate in the International College of Applied Kinesiology.  He has been teaching professionals health care providers since 1983-Dentists; Chiropractors, Psychologists, Medical Doctors, Osteopathic Physicians and Podiatrists, as well as Veterinarians, have attended the classes.

Dr. Sprieser has lectured widely to many dental and chiropractic societies in New Jersey including the Passaic Dental Association, Tri-County Chiropractic Association, and New Jersey Chiropractic Association and too many lay lecture groups including the National Federation of Health.  He has also done local radio and television appearances.

Since 1983 he has been teaching the Basic 100-Hour Course of Applied Kinesiology, and Courses in Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), as well as teaching post-graduate work at the Parker Seminars, and the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry, and for eight years till 2008 at New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Sprieser is also engaged in clinical research for the past thirty six years in areas of applied kinesiology, learning disabilities, TMJ Dysfunction, and general health problems.

He has published 90 papers in the Collected Papers of the International College of Applied Kinesiology.  Fifteen of these papers were selected for national publication in the Digest of Chiropractic Economics, Dynamic Chiropractic and The Journal of Vertebral Subluxation, The International Journal of Applied Kinesiology and Kinesiologic Medicine. At this time he is awaiting for the publication of a book on Applied Kinesiology for the general public.
